in Saint Joseph, Louisiana in 1986. A little stairwell on Plank Road reveals our studio, located in the old Western Auto building.
Wendy's School of Dance is owned and operated by Wendy Goodwin Waller, a native of Tensas Parish, a 1995 graduate of Tensas Academy, and a 10 year member of the Twin City Ballet Company in Monroe/West Monroe, Louisiana. Wendy was one of 9 dancers from TCB that performed at International Ballet Competition in Jackson in 1998. Wendy continues involvement with TCB through the professional board and ballet classes whenever she gets the chance! |

Performances
To this date we have put on seven spring recitals:
1997- Salute to Broadway
1998- Let's go to the Movies
1999- The Magic of Disney
2000- Sentimental Journey
2001- The Wizard of Oz and Parents' Choice
2002- Stars and Stripes
2003- Cinderella
Next up- Recital 2004, TV
In 2000, we also presented, for the first time, a Christmas program, 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas'. This Christmas, Classes IV- VIII danced in the Saint Joseph Orchestra's Christmas Production on December 10. In 2002, we presented 'The Grinch' again, with a few extra performances, and in 2003 we presented a jazz/tap Christmas variety show.
